RED GREG (UK)
London-based Darren Griffiths AKA Red Greg is a gifted figure of the soul and disco scene; creating his own unique sound of a special mix of Funk, Disco and Gospel. What makes Red Greg’s mixes so special is his eye for the crowd. Combining perfect technique with an amazing collection of one dollar records and rarities. His respect for hidden gems, particularly of 1970s disco boogie and early 1980s modern funk, make him a highly regarded selector amongst his peers. No wonder he’s regarded the best active disco DJ right now by the likes of Floating Points, Motor City Drum Ensemble or Rahaan.

Darren’s DJ sets are sure to get any dance-floor buzzing with a smooth transition between soul, boogie, disco to a touch of jazz. His extensive knowledge of his records has given him room to celebrate the niche tracks of music he loves with an audience, and welcome them with open arms. Red Greg combines those feel-good rarities and deep cuts with perfect technical ability.
