Steadily and patiently rising into light is Admin a.k.a Adam Wickens.

Admin is a knowledgeable veteran beyond his years, dedicating much of his time to listening, collecting and carefully drawing musical influences from Disco, Soul, House, Jazz and much more to respectably invest into his own productions and DJ sets.

Based in Bristol, he has become a valuable member of the city’s infamous underground scene, making regular appearances at recognised parties, and holding down his residency for his own night, Slix Disco. Having played alongside legendary DJs and collectors such as Sadar Bahar, Mark Grusane and Daniel Wang (and more!) in the past few years, Adam has gained invaluable experience that shines through his own DJ sets.

He has released records on highly regarded imprints such as Omena, Sleazy Beats, Kolour LTD and Banoffee Pies, showcasing his ability to chop, flip and edit samples in a unique way, creating original and uplifting beats for the dancefloor and beyond.

In what we can characterise as a truly impatient and disposable era that we now live in, Admin is a refreshing reminder that we can still build a path in music at our own pace.
