Lonely Christmas Tree Seeking Presents

Christmas is a wonderful time of traditions, both new and old. For many children, however, this is not always a season of joy. That’s why, during the holiday season, HOBO invites you to make a donation to the foundation Maskrosbarn and some of the children who need it the most. We call it “Lonely Christmas Tree Seeking Presents”.

Help us make this season a magical one for all children. Stop by our lobby between December 1 and Christmas day, December 25 and make your much appreciated donation by buying a dandelion that you can hang up in our Christmas tree. The amount you buy the dandelion for (min. SEK 50) we will double and will donate to the organization in full!

Where do the gifts go?

All received Christmas gifts at our hotel are donated to Maskrosbarn, an organization which works with children between the ages of 13-19 to have the chance to talk about their difficult home circumstances. Maskrosbarn offer long-term support, community and the opportunity to change your own life. You can read more about their important work at https://maskrosbarn.org/om-oss/.

About the project

The Lonely Christmas Tree Project is part of a bigger initiative at Nordic Hotels & Resorts. Together with Giving Tuesday, a day that encourages people to do good, we want to take the opportunity to give back to our communities. Since 2012, Nordic Hotels & Resorts together with Nordic Choice Hotels have collected over 446,370 gifts and donations in the Lonely Christmas Tree Project. For this, we are forever thankful.
