Hidden in the old industrial meat packing area of Stockholm (slakthusområdet) you will find Hosoi, a Japanese-inspired listening lounge. Serving fresh dishes, natural wine, craft beer, live music, and DJ sets in a cozy and intimate space. If you are a vinyl nerd and wine lover you will not want to miss it!

I love music, and especially live music, which makes the jazz club Fasching my absolute favourite spot in Stockholm. Fasching has the classic dark jazz club vibe, and is the go to arena in Sweden to see some of the best musicians in the world. If you are a music lover like me, check it out. And for the party people out there – they also host hip hop and old school soul clubs every Friday and Saturday night!

My favorite spot of our city is the Hagaparken, located on the outskirts of Vasastan in the north of Stockholm. Here I go for the perfect run, a swim in the water or a long picnic with friends. Since a couple of years back the Crown Princess and her family lives here too, I sometimes pass by and visit the sheep they keep on their grounds. Fun Fact - Norrtullsgatan, that stretches out from Odenplan and all the way to Hagaparken is the first avenue ever in Stockholm.

I have always had a special place in my heart for music and arts which are all found in the area of Södermalm where you can find everything from art galleries, record shops and vintage shops, to bars and venues with live music and events.
One of these places called Common located on the very end of Bondegatan is a perfect example of a cozy bar to grab a drink whilst enjoying live music. I have also always found the love for Stockholm and its closeness to nature, making Mälarhöjdsbadet my absolute favorite spot.

Fotografiska is definitely one of my favourite places in Stockholm. It is not a traditional museum or gallery but a beautiful place for contemporary photography. The exhibitions change every one to two months, so that makes it the perfect spot to pass by a few times a year no matter the season. They also have a really nice restaurant with a beautiful view over Stockholm. Sometimes I only pass by the shop to buy a new photo poster and refresh my photo wall at home or to look for a nice gift, as they sell very cool art books, games and other fun stuff."

Strolling the Norr Mälarstrand promenade with a coffee in my hand and my dog in the other is one of my favorites in Stockholm. Watching the skateboarders in the park, people having picnics or others going for a run, creates the perfect mix of rush and enjoyment.

If you're looking for a real hidden gem in Stockholm, I can totally recommend checking out Rosendals Trädgård over on Djurgården. It’s this lovely mix of garden café, bakery, farm shop, and plant nursery that creates a peaceful oasis focused on sustainability, cultivation, and enjoyment. Whether you’re up for a walk through the orchards or a coffee/lunch/glass of wine in the rose garden, you'll be surrounded by gorgeous nature. While you're there, make sure to take a walk along the waterfront around Djurgården.
