I like the city. My favorite buildings in Stockholm are the Hötorget buildings (Hötorgsskraporna). It is said they were built as an urban vision of a crystal architecture in glass and steel surrounded by greenery. I love the market at Hötorget where trade and people meet around food and flowers. The best of all is the Oriental Supermarket right in the back of the NK mall. Apart from food from every corner of Asia there is also a deli where you can buy grilled Peking duck or chicken feet.

I love music, and especially live music, which makes the jazz club Fasching my absolute favourite spot in Stockholm. Fasching has the classic dark jazz club vibe, and is the go to arena in Sweden to see some of the best musicians in the world. If you are a music lover like me, check it out.  And for the party people out there – they also host hip hop and old school soul clubs every Friday and Saturday night!

I love Stockholm because you get the best of all seasons. Rålis is a perfect place to enjoy them, and that’s why it’s my favorite place in the city. In the summer it’s the melting pot of friends, playing games and music, cooking, drinking, swimming and even working out. Festivals and food trucks along with open air cinemas are a regular. In the winter you have the contrast of walking over the ice at the same spot you were swimming four months prior.

My favourite place in Stockholm is Årstaviken, located in the south of Stockholm. All year round I find it my perfect place for summer strolls, or taking a swim, or just sitting there watching the world go by. In the summer I usually take a walk from Lilijeholmen along the water to Skanstull, checking out amazing bars and restaurants around Nytorget – or head over to Hornstull market for amazing street food!

My favorite spot of our city is the Hagaparken, located on the outskirts of Vasastan in the north of Stockholm. Here I go for the perfect run, a swim in the water or a long picnic with friends. Since a couple of years back the Crown Princess and her family lives here too, I sometimes pass by and visit the sheep they keep on their grounds. Fun Fact - Norrtullsgatan, that stretches out from Odenplan and all the way to Hagaparken is the first avenue ever in Stockholm.

I love the smell och freshly ground coffee, bread coming out the oven, vintage shopping, Stockholms beautiful nature and of course, food. Södermalm gives me the best of it all. A beer with some friends, late work hours in a café or a walk in Vitabergsparken – or why not along the water from Slussen until you reach Fotografiska, the best art museum in the city if you ask me!
