I like the city. My favorite buildings in Stockholm are the Hötorget buildings (Hötorgsskraporna). It is said they were built as an urban vision of a crystal architecture in glass and steel surrounded by greenery. I love the market at Hötorget where trade and people meet around food and flowers. The best of all is the Oriental Supermarket right by the Hötorget subway station. Apart from food from every corner of Asia there is also a deli where you can buy grilled Peking duck or chicken feet.

It is the mix of the archipelago, all the parks, fantastic architecture and the ever-changing bar and restaurant scene that make me love Stockholm. Every part of the city has its cool hangouts and must-sees and some hidden gems that will blow your mind. Ask our staff, they know where to go. If you need somewhere to recharge and clear your mind after a day of discovering – the Djurgården island with its green landscape is the absolute best place. Don’t miss Skansen – Sweden in miniature with all its history.

My favorite spot of our city is the Hagaparken, located on the outskirts of Vasastan in the north of Stockholm. Here I go for the perfect run, a swim in the water or a long picnic with friends. Since a couple of years back the Crown Princess and her family lives here too, I sometimes pass by and visit the sheep they keep on their grounds. Fun Fact - Norrtullsgatan, that stretches out from Odenplan and all the way to Hagaparken is the first avenue ever in Stockholm.

As much as I love Stockholm I love to travel and eat! This is the most genuine food market in Stockholm. Every time I walk through the doors I feel like I have left Sweden behind me. If I want good meat, sausages, cheese or fish this is the place to go. Staff is always very friendly and have lots of tips how to cook or prepare what you are eating. There is also plenty of fast-food joints and restaurants. In my opinion, they have the best kebab the city has to offer.

My favourite strip of land in Stockholm is in Södermalm, it stretches from Mariatorget to Hornstull and there I find everything I need to recharge my batteries from my favourite bars (Paradiso, Little Tong, Hommage, Haktet, Tjoget) to amazing street food and second-hand shops. I fell in love with that area when I first moved to Stockholm 4 years ago and still now that I don’t live or work there anymore Söder is my bizarre love triangle.
