Somewhere between a sculpture and a source of light, our Hobo architect Werner Aisslinger’s famous Behive lamp for Foscarini is already a classic piece. Designed in 2011, the name “Behive” (a shortening of “beehive”) describes the shape and horizontal striped pattern of the diffuser and its emanating warm, soft light.
We love the way Behive is equally decorative switched on and switched off. Modern and architectural, but with a charming poetic air. And up here in the Northern hemisphere you can never get to much light…
